This pack is a complete kit for phoytoplankton analysis using the Utermöhl method.
 
Complete with 4 high quality clear acrylic sedimentation chambers (10, 25, 50 and 100ml). A 16cm wide by 4.5cm deep base plate milled from 6mm acrylic. This marries with a black HDPE compression ring holds a 28mm diameter glass coverslip (the kit comes with a pack of 50 of these), which complete with the 26mm central hole in the base plate holds a final 3ml sample for analysis.
 
A black acrylic holder box, holds the base plate and sedimentation chambers during the sedimentation process. A 15mm vent hole to one side the baseplate allows for drainage of the sedimentation chamber at the end of the sedimentation period.
 
Circular and square 6mm thich cover slips are poveded for the tops of the sedimentation chambers and the base plate respectively.
