The Folsom Splitter is designed to split a water sample of known volume into two equal parts.
Our design features a 20cm diameter*12cm wide drum which comfortably holds a volume of 1L. Two identical matt black sample boats sit under the drum to receive the split sample as it's poured off.
The drum and boats sit on a base plate which can be leveled with 4 threaded nylon bolt feet. A green bullseye style spirit level is embedded in the baseplate to allow the user to know when they've correctly levelled the device.
